Operation Lead owns how every live retail store performs day to day. You run all stores at the target service level, hold the line on order accuracy and product quality, and keep wastage and shrinkage low through tight cold chain and stock discipline. You are also the person who makes sure every new store opens on time, on budget, and fully ready to scale, so the network can grow fast without breaking.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations across all stores, covering order processing, product quality, team productivity, and store uptime, so every outlet runs smoothly from open to close.
- Own store-level service standards, including order accuracy and on-time handover to customers and delivery partners, keeping the experience consistent across every location.
- Drive wastage and shrinkage down by enforcing FEFO, running daily expiry screening, and holding tight temperature control across the full cold chain, from goods receiving to storage, to dispatch.
- Keep inventory and asset accuracy tight through regular stock opname, cycle counts, and asset tracking, so the system always matches what is physically on the floor.
- Oversee new store openings from start to finish, from readiness checklist, equipment install, and staffing, through to soft opening and full launch, delivered on time and within the agreed budget.
- Run regular site visits and sanity checks across all stores, enforce SOP compliance, and close any gaps quickly before they grow.
- Build and maintain simple, reliable trackers and dashboards for order handling, wastage, and overall store health, so every decision is backed by real numbers.
- Control store operating costs and keep pushing cost per order down as sales volume grows, protecting margin while the network scales.
- Work closely with Merchandising, Supply, Finance, HR, and Expansion to keep operations running without friction.
- Lead, coach, and develop Store Supervisors and ground teams, building a disciplined and accountable operations culture across the network.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, any major (Operations / SCM / Business preferred).
- 3–5 years in operations, with 1–2 years leading a team.
- Hands-on experience in multi-store retail, fresh / FMCG, warehouse, or ground operations.
- Background in e-commerce or online order operations: experience running online orders, pick-pack, and delivery handover, ideally in an omnichannel or online-to-offline retail setup.
- Comfortable with trackers, dashboards, and Excel, with a data-driven way of making decisions.
- Cost control and basic financial understanding (store opex, cost to serve, budget adherence).
- Multi-site coordination, willing to do regular field and store visits across Jabodetabek.
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving with a resourceful mindset.
Tools to be mastered
- Inventory / WMS and POS systems: to manage stock accuracy, receiving, and sales at the store level.
- ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo): for end-to-end stock, purchasing, and cost tracking.
- Order management systems (OMS): to handle online orders, status, and delivery handover.
- BI and dashboard tools (e.g., Metabase, Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau): to monitor service level, wastage, and store health in real time.
